Sharon Rousseau is a writer, photographer, and poet living in New York City and in the Hudson Valley. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism and has studied photography at the International Center for Photography in New York City. Her writing has been published in the New York Times, and she was named a New York Times Poet's Pick in 2014 for NYC haiku. Sharon's photography has been exhibited in galleries and public space. She has also worked in commercials and film, both in front of the camera and in production, and has sold residential real estate. She has served on the Board of Directors of the Woodstock Artists Association Museum and continues to be an Active Artist Member. Combining this diverse experience, Sharon creates content for websites and social media platforms---and writes fiction and essays.
